On April 2, 2016, the Tuckahoe Tomahawks hosted Super Bowl Champion and Tomahawk Alum Russell Wilson. The kids and parents left inspired and honored to have been able to attend. Russell Wilson described to the crowd how he started playing football on the very fields that we were sitting on. He inspired us to "get outside", "be competitive", and "school is not easy for everyone, but remember education comes first." Russell challenged not only the kids to get motivated, but also the parents and coaches to encourage these kids to pursue and try multiple activities.
